About Kenzo
Living in Mind-Body Coherence
Dr in Natural Medicine
My interest in natural/complimentary medicine started when I was 18 years old when I trained as a massage therapist and later as a yoga teacher; it has remained an integral part of all aspects of my life. Natural medicine, sometimes called traditional medicine, or complimentary medicine, is not generally opposed to orthodox medicine as it can work harmoniously along side it. Natural medicine/therapies were the underpinning of my Ph.D., my first book: The Effects of Shamanic Healing and Other Healing Practices on General Well-Being.
The Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Counselling and psychotherapy has played an important role in my life, not just as a therapist but also as a supervisor; it informed my shamanic practice and Ph.D. and offered me many opportunities to guide people to much needed healing. I have worked with children, young people and adults and much of my work has been to do with child sexual abuse. Although not a nice topic to talk about, it is, none the less, a topic that needs to be addressed. Those whom have suffered sexual abuse have a voice and their voice needs to be heard with empathy, acceptance and a non judgemental attitude. Many children that have been sexually abused never recover and many require on-going treatment and support.
The Author
I have loved books all my life, I started writing in 2014. I have several books that are currently available to purchase and I am a member of, and have an author profile with the Society of Authors (SoA).
I write non-fiction, and my topics tend to be on healing, spirituality, shamanic healing, poetry, and health & well-being. My paperbacks can be purchased from: Waterstones / Tenshi Publishing / Foyles / Gardners / Browns. My e-books can be purchased from many of the e-book platforms. For an extensive list check out the Books by Kenzo page.
The Shaman
My shamanic apprenticeship started in 1996 with Spirit and lasted 20yrs and took me around various parts of the world; but my spiritual journey and life long learning continues. My role as a shaman encompassed all of my life training and experience and that, plus my personal walk with Spirit/God/Great Mystery (call IT what you may) continues to inform my life, my life has been a path of fire and great sacrifice. As a shaman, my spirit name is White Eagle.1

The Mystic/Quantum Warrior
A personal relationship with the Divine Source/Great Spirit (many names – but yet unnameable) has been prominent all my life with my first remembrance of encounters happening as young as 5 years old. As an INFJ personality, it stands to reason that my ultimate calling would be as a mystic2and/or a quantum warrior3. My shamanic journey, along with many years of knowledge, training, experience, and insights, have underpinned and been beautifully woven into my tapestry of life. As I continue my spiritual walk, I do not leave behind any of my teachings, I am still White Eagle, the shaman, the author, the psychotherapist, the doctor in natural medicine, these are all integral aspects of me as an interwoven, multidimensional being, these are all the parts of me that make up me as a whole, and for that, I feel deep gratitude and offer thanks to my guiding light. As a mystic/quantum warrior, my spirit name is BraveHeart.4
Summary
Kenzo started out at eighteen years old as a mental health nurse and is now a Dr in Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM); she holds a Ph.D. with her focus being on The Effects of Shamanic Healing and Other Healing Practices on General Well-Being which was re-worked into a book.
Kenzo has worked in the alternative/complimentary field for over four decades in various roles including as a counsellor, psychotherapist, massage therapist and yoga teacher; her work has taken her around the world and has included working on international cruise liners as a massage therapist and salon manager. It is her vast training and experience over the years that influenced and informed her role as a shaman. With that in mind, her focus for reading and writing tends to be more towards CAM, healing, and other spiritually orientated books that she finds to be interesting, thought provoking and leading to personal growth.
Photography is Kenzo’s hobby, it is a passion, for her, photographs are Moments Frozen in Time that tell stories, and the stories they tell depend upon the perception of what we see. The majority of her photographs are to do with nature, specifically flowers. Kenzo feels that nature has the power to heal, that it can speak softly to our heart if we permit it the time to do so. She believes that from healing comes growth, and through growth we are able to offer the world the best of ourselves.
Her message to us all is to slow down, sit in nature, be inwardly still, breathe deeply and accept the gifts of nature that are readily available to those of us with eyes to see and ears to hear. The wall art that she sells is her own work and she never sells or creates AI generated images. Her photography is also available as licensed digital downloads.

Meanings
1 The name White Eagle was given to me many years ago whilst on my shamanic journey, it symbolizes a spiritual teacher, representing courage and strength, wisdom and purity, and divine guidance from a deep connection to higher realms. The name often originates from Native American traditions.
2 A Mystic is a person who seeks direct connection to, and a personal experience with the Divine/Ultimate Supremecy (call IT what you may) through silence, solitude, and contemplation.
3 A Quantum Warrior is a person who actively shapes their life by mastering their thoughts and transmuting negative emotions into positive emotions. A Quantum Warrior walks in mind-heart coherence through the understanding and mastering of quantum reality, embracing the foundational beliefs that the same consciousness that created the universe dwells within us all, and that we exist in, and are one with the universal energy web. A Quantum Warrior believes that consciousness weaves and directs energy which means that all things already exist as energetic possibilities for each of us; in other words, we can weave the web we wish to live whether that be to do with our health, our relationships or our work life. (An extract from: Quantum Warrior – The Future of the Mind by John Kehoe)
4 The name Braveheart was given to me after completing ten months of intense psychotherapy which was directed by Spirit, it refers to a courageous, brave hearted person who shows determination and valor in the face of adversity, signifying a courageous soul. Braveheart was historically a surname to describe a warrior’s spirit.
