The Point At Which the Spirit Adjoins a Baby

Today I had another deep insight. I had been wondering or pondering on at what point spirit enters or adjoins a baby. Some believe the spirit is there from conception, others believe that the spirit is there as it develops. Today, Great Mystery/Spirit told me: “The spirit adjoins the baby the moment the umbilical cord is cut.” It was very clear; there was no hesitation. I was shown that whilst the baby is attached to its mother, it has no spirit of its own, or at least no spirit that is yet adjoined. Whilst attached to the umbilical cord, the baby lives as part of its mother, not as a parasite which lives off another, but more as the tree that bears fruit, the flower that produces a blossom; the baby is an extension of its mother, and so shares of her spirit until the point of umbilical cord decimation.

After writing When the Past Informs the Future – Part 2, it left me questioning how my son, Alyn from a past life could have been the spirit of my grandson who died in the womb (intrauterine foetal demise, or still birth) if the spirit doesn’t adjoin the baby until the umbilical cord is cut. I was told that my son was in waiting, he was waiting to adjoin my grandson. Had my grandson lived, my son would have adjoined him through re-incarnation at the point of the cutting of the cord.

I was shown that the cutting or decimation of the umbilical cord is a sacred act, one that should be done in ceremony, by a ceremonial leader, performed with respect, with elders witnessing this beautiful moment. The decimation of the cord is another representation of death which opens the door to birth. When the baby’s umbilical cord is cut, he or she is undergoing a type of spiritual death to fully embrace its physical birth. When one door closes, another opens. When we die, we are undergoing a physical death to fully embrace a spiritual birth, the cycle completes, from the spiritual realm we came, to the spiritual realm we return.
