I don’t follow the crowd
I follow intuition
Sometimes that takes me
In the same direction as you
But often on a different track.
I often walk alone
But I am not lonely
If I am in your life
It is for a reason
And for a time.
When that time is up
I will sail away
And be nothing more than a memory
Hopefully a good one
That leaves a pleasant ambience in your heart.
