Separated in body
But not in soul
Unbearable tension
Only you can console.
I feel like my chest
Will split open in two
The feeling is tremendous
What about you?
Like a thick rubber band
Holding us together
It seems we cannot
Be parted – ever.
For being apart
Pulls tight on the band
Causing unbelievable tension
Flinging us back – hand in hand.
All I can say is
What God brings together
Will not be parted
